A Bit About Me
Lexi has been photographing since her sophomore year of high school and officially established The Reel Shot Photography in 2019. She has received numerous merit awards for both her photography and competitive dance. Her passion for people surpasses her love of photography, and she prides herself on building genuine, lasting connections with each client. She values working with a diverse clientele and is deeply passionate about women’s rights, U.S. veterans' affairs, economic disparity, racial justice, and LGBTQIA+ equality.
When she isn’t behind the camera, Lexi directs, produces, and choreographs films. Her current project, She Holds the Tide, is award-winning and currently in the festival circuit. She holds a Master’s degree in Film Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and has begun integrating cinematography into The Reel Shot’s offerings, bringing a more cinematic and story-driven approach to her work.
Lexi is incredibly grateful for the support of her friends and family and attributes her success to her relationship with God.
